UAS has designed its service package to properly administer a student loan
account from the first award to the final payment. Major emphasis has been
placed on regulatory compliance and timely communications with borrowers.
Extensive optional services give schools the flexibility and tools to prevent
delinquencies and reduce defaults. UAS offers pre-collection telephone calls, cohort
default management programs, on-line collection management tools, and automated
agency interfaces.
UAS offers two service plans to allow each institution the level of control
it desires. Our Modified Service Plan allows the institution to maintain all
borrower contact and loan processing in-house at reduced cost. Our Full Service Plan
minimizes institution staff involvement with the loan program. UAS answers borrower
inquiries, processes benefit forms, and updates accounts.
The UAS Ultimate Service Plan provides resources for schools with limited staff. In addition to the
services provided under the full service plan, UAS personnel handle all other administrative tasks
such as refunds and assignment.
